Fé 21 Championship
Having missed out on the championship last year the club decided to field a team in this year’s 15 a side competition. The competition was run as a straight knockout championship this year and a good away match against Delvin/ St Pauls on a miserable day in Clonmellon saw us progress to the next stage where unfortunately we lost out, away to Athlone, by 3 points thus ending our involvement for 2012.
The Minors
The club fulfilled all fixtures this year and the team will need to build on the experiences of this season if they are to move forward in 2013. That said our lads finished 2nd in Division 3 and were narrowly beaten by Shandonagh in the Division 3 championship final
Under 14’s
Building on the success from previous seasons this year our under 14’s contested another final, this time the Division 1 shield against St Lomans in Ballynacargy. A great display saw the lads run out comfortable winners in the end and congratulations to all the players and mentors on another superb achievement.
A special thank you to Westmeath, Mullingar Shamrocks and Sigerson cup winning Captain Kieran Gavin who presented the medal at the special event for the lads earlier this month.
Thank you to all Mentors for their help and support throughout the year.
